The 2026 Baraga County Lake Trout Festival

Join us on the beautiful L’Anse Keweenaw Bay waterfront for an afternoon of family fun. Other than the arts and crafts fair and the Stop, Drop and Run 5k, all activities are free!
UPDATE: With a Small Craft Advisory in effect for Friday, and rough water expected, the Friday Keweenaw Bay Classic lead-in tournament has been canceled. Prize money will be rolled into the prize pool for the main tournament. Organizers are watching Saturday’s weather carefully. Contingency plans, if conditions are unfavorable, will be to either shorten the tournament or delay it until Sunday.
Events associated with the Lake Trout Festival in L’Anse will proceed as scheduled.
